Married on Anzac Day 1959, Bill and Joan Casley are celebrating 60 years together.
The Loftus couple met in September 1955, when Mr Casley asked his wife-to-be, on a date to see a play at Marrickville.
This was the beginning of a life long love, with the pair saying 'I do' on April 25 at St Georges Church of England, Hurstville.
They bought a block of land at Loftus, and began building their home in the same year.
They have four daughters, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The pair made many happy memories travelling across Australia and overseas. Their favourite family holidays were spent camping during the summer in Forster.
Another highlight was celebrating Mr Casley's 80th birthday cruising the Pacific on the Celebrity Solstice. They also recently returned from their dream holiday travelling to Perth on the Indian Pacific, and visiting New Zealand.
Love, trust, commitment, teamwork and family have been the key to their happiness throughout the years.
The couple looks forward to celebrating their diamond day with their family.
