Two men have been charged after a teenage boy was allegedly pulled into a car at a Hurstville bus stop in what police believe was a domestic-related incident.
Police will allege about 5.45pm on Wednesday, a boy, 15, was standing at the intersection of Barratt Street and Woodville Street, Hurstville, waiting to cross the road, when a black Holden Captiva stopped in front of him at the traffic lights.
"Two men got out of the car and began punching and kicking the boy, before dragging him to the car and putting him in the back seat," a police spokesman said.
"Both men re-entered the car and drove away.
"Witnesses contacted police, before officers from St George Police Area Command and the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad arrived and declared a crime scene at the intersection.
"Following extensive inquiries, two men, aged 20 and 22, along with the boy, attended St George Police Station.
"The boy was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics but did not require hospitalisation.
"Both men were arrested and charged with affray, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s) (DV), and granted conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on April 10.
"As inquiries continue, the incident is believed to be domestic-related."
