A landmark waterfront location near Tom Uglys Bridge and home to two iconic local businesses has been listed for sale.
Five land owners on the Princes Highway at Blakehurst have joined their residential properties together to sell to a developer.
The combined site includes buildings currently occupied by Mac's Bait Bar and Bridge Seafoods (which was formerly one of two Smith's Seafoods shops, situated on either side of the highway).
Daniel Moroko from listing agent Highland Commercial Property said it was "the largest waterfront development site in Southern Sydney".
"Nothing like this has been offered before," Mr Moroko said.
"The site is more than 5000sqm and is literally on the water."
Mr Moroko said the street to waterfront site at 424 - 432 Princes Highway had an easterly aspect which "boasts 180 degree uninterrupted views across Kogarah Bay and towards the city".
"It could be sold and turned into apartments, hotel or an aged care facility," he said.
