Each year the RSL Sub-Branches of Oatley, Mortdale and Penshurst hold a combined Anzac Day Dawn Service at one of their Memorials. This year it is Penshurst RSL's turn to host the Dawn Service, to be held at the Memorial in Bridge Street Penshurst at 6am.
The combined Anzac Day Dawn Service of the Penshurst, Oatley and Mortdale RSL Sub-Branches will this year be held at the Penhurst Memorial in Bridge Street Penshurst, assembling at 5.45am for the service which will start at 6am.
This will be one of many dawn services and marches to be held across the St George region.
Services will also be held at:
- Arncliffe RSL Sub-Branch, 6am: Memorial and Wreath Laying Service, Cenotaph, Arncliffe Park, 71B Wollongong Road, Arncliffe.
- Bexley RSL Sub-Branch, 6am: Memorial and Wreath Laying Service in front of the RSL Club, 24 Stoney Creek Road, Bexley.
- Brighton Le Sands RSL Sub-Branch, 6am: Memorial and Wreath Laying Service at the Memorial next to the RSL Club, 251 Bay Street, Brighton Le Sands.
- Earlwood/Bardwell Park RSL Sub-Branch, 5:45am: Meet in the RSL car park at 18 Hartill-Law Avenue, Bardwell Park, for short march to Memorial and Wreath Laying Service at the Memorial Garden.
- Kingsgrove RSL Sub-Branch, 6:45am: Assemble on the corner of Shaw Street and Kingsgrove Road, Kingsgrove. 7am: March to Kingsgrove RSL Club for Memorial and Wreath Laying Service in Memorial Park, 4 Brocklehurst Lane, Kingsgrove.
- Ramsgate RSL Memorial Club, 6:30am: Assemble at the Sans Souci Literary Institute corner Campbell Street and Ramsgate Road, Ramsgate. 7am: March to the Ramsgate RSL Club for Memorial and Wreath Laying Service at 7:20am.
- Hurstville RSL, 6am, Dawn Service at Memorial Square, Forest Road.
- South Hurstville RSL, 6am Dawn Service, 72 Connells Point Road, South Hurstville.
- Riverwood RSL Sub-Branch, 5:30am - Dawn Service, Club Rivers Memorial (Littleton Street). 9:15am - ANZAC Day March Commencement (Belmore Road). 9:30am - Main Service, Club Rivers Memorial (Littleton Street). 12:00pm - ANZAC Day Ex Servicemen and Women Luncheon. 6:00pm - Retreat Service; Club Rivers Memorial.
- Kogarah RSL Sub-Branch. 7am, meet in Blake Street, next to old club site. 7.15am, march to Cenotaph, corner of English Street and Park Street, next to Jubilee Oval. 8am, service concludes. 8.30am Breakfast at Beverley Park Golf Club.
