Hurstville Entertainment Centre is currently hosting an eight-week Laugh School stand-up comedy workshop run by Hurstville Hysterical Society.
Laugh School workshops are perfect for any aspiring comics who want to refine their craft, test their abilities and get a first taste for performing stand-up comedy live on stage in a fun and supportive environment.
Led by John Knowles and Sean Morahan, two of Sydney's best comedy teachers, Laugh School provides a supportive environment where participants are taught the stand-up comedy process from crafting and building routines, to discovering their on-stage persona as well as a range of performance skills including improvisation, microphone technique and audience interaction.
The course is currently in its second week, however limited places are still available.
- When: 8-week course runs on Monday nights to 24 June 2019
- Time: 7.30pm
- Cost: 8 week course - $285. (Late registrations will be refunded the value of the workshops they have missed)
