Club East hosts Southern Brass in Shire Heritage Festival

Southern Brass, a Sutherland Shire brass band, raised its instruments for its first concert of the year, raising the roof with their melodies at Club East Sutherland on May 19.

They played a free concert from music-loving folk as part of the celebrations in the Australian Heritage Festival.

Sutherland Shire Heritage Festival is an annual event and includes open days, exhibitions, activities and entertainment at various venues in the area.

The festival occurs in conjunction with the National Trust's Heritage Festival.

Southern Brass, a non-profit community band, is dedicated to providing opportunities for musicians to perform for the entertainment of others.
