After threatening change in his post-match presser on the weekend, following a string of poor performances, Dragons coach, Paul McGregor has swung the axe on incumbent starters Matt Dufty and Mikaele Ravalawa for this Sunday's clash against the Cronulla Sharks in Wollongong.
In what will be a crucial match for the Red V against their arch-nemesis, McGregor has opted for highly-touted youngster Zac Lomax to take on fullback responsibilities in what will be a huge moment in his career to date.
The game on Sunday will also see the first grade Dragons debut of winger, Jonus Pearson who plied his trade in Brisbane prior to his move south, at the start of the season.
Speaking with the media today, Dragons hardman, James Graham was realistic about his teams ongoing poor performances but vowed the team was underachieving and could be better.
"We know that we are better that what we've put up the last couple of weeks," Graham said.
"As an individual and as a group we got to try and make sure things get better."
Cronulla on the other hand have named a completely unchanged starting 17 for the encounter, with the possibility of star play maker Matt Moylan returning off the extended bench.
The Dragons play the Sharks this Sunday at 4pm at WIN Stadium in Wollongong.
