The Choirboys have been rocking the suburbs since 1978 with no end in sight.
One of Australia's pub rock icons, they have released a swag of enduring rock anthems including Run to Paradise and Never Gonna Die.
Now the band have curated a special show for their upcoming tour that partially embarks on the bands indulgence of sixties American rock band, Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The band have will play a handful of Revival's classic hits, all performed in their own inimitable style along with playing all their hits and fan favorites.
Speaking on the influence the American band had on the Aussie rockers, singer Mark Gable remembers him listening to them from a young age and instantly falling in love with them.
''The radio was on and what drifted out the back windows was Green River by Creedence. I was instantly in love with this song and the band that created it." Gable said.
"Like the millions of things we do in our lives that are mundane, boring and forgotten I have no idea what I was doing in the backyard at that time, but when I heard Revival that day it embedded that moment forever in my mind; the sky, the colour of the house, and even the paint peeling off the back railings.''
The Choirboys' will bring their loud sweat driven and gritty full live experience to the Taren Point Hotel on Friday, June 21.
