Peakhurst West Public School pupil Alex Kis is certainly making waves in the film industry.
Alex has been busy filming in the past two years, being cast as a lead in the short film screening on SBS called Disco Dykes directed by Sara West.
She also hosted an eight episode series on Nickelodeon for Lego friends, has presented for The Morning Show, interviewed Margot Robbie and Elizabeth Debicki for the Australian release of Peter Rabbit, featured in the Northern Pictures and Screen Australia TV series called 'Hardball' and recently wrapped on a 12 episode kids TV show called 'News of the Wild' set to be aired in July 2019.
Alex was also nominated for best young actor for Disco Dykes at the St Kilda Film Festival (top four out of 100 films).
She is this year going to the US, whereshe has been offered a role on another project.
The Leader first met the talented young star when she played a young Rebel Wilson in the film Isn't It Romantic.
