It's bound to be a 'pawfect' day out for the dogs of the Shire.
Dogs in the Park NSW is hosting an event for dogs on Sunday, August 25, at Don Lucas Reserve, Cronulla.
This will be the first event of its kind in the community, bringing together dog-owners and pup lovers alike.
Crowds in excess of 1900 people are expected to attend, and the event's Facebook page has already been a barking success, with more than 40,000 hits.
With 300 entrants from the shire, there will be dog demonstrations, rescue groups, racing, interactive stalls, a dog trick contest, and yes for the show mums and dads of the shire - competitions for best-dressed and cutest puppy, among others.
There is also an opportunity to raise money for a dog-related charitable organisation such Various Doggie Rescue.
9.30am-3.30pm.
