A Winter Wonderland is coming to Ramsgate these school holidays.
Ramsgate RSL Club will be hosting the Winter Wonderland event on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday July 21 with proceeds going to assist youth homelessness and the work of local not-for-profit group, Project Youth.
With an indoor synthetic ice skating rink adventure, facepainting and arcade games including a car simulator and air hockey, the event promises to be a highlight of the school holidays.
There will even be a visit from Elsa the Snow Queen and there will be a photo booth on site to capture a Winter Wonderland memory.
Each day of the Winter Wonderland weekend is promised to be packed with fun for the kids and is suitable for boys and girls between ages five and 14 years.
Project Youth help youth aged 14 to 24 years find safe and affordable places to stay to avoid homelessness in the local area.
According to Project Youth website, more than 2000 young people attended their drop in centres in 2017-2018.
Project Youth housed 522 young people in 2018 and 3928 Young people were engaged through outreach across Sutherland and St George area in 2017/18.
Tickets to Winter Wonderland are $15 per child for the one-hour session.
