Cronulla will host a new elite international junior golf tournament designed to provide a platform for some of the world's leading amateur junior golfers to compete.
The Junior 6's Invitational will be held at Cronulla Golf Club from October 7 to 8.
The invitation-only tournament has a unique format with a combination of stroke play and knockout match play rounds in a super sixes format to crown the girls and boys champions.
The 36-hole winners will be presented with the Norm Porter Memorial Trophy, with overall tournament champions earning automatic entry into the 2019 men's and women's NSW Open.
The boy's winner will also be eligible to play the Gippsland Super 6 Tour event.
Hosted by Cronulla product Ewan Porter, the event has already attracted fellow professional golfers Nick O'Hern and Sarah Kemp as ambassadors along with former rugby league player Braith Anasta and cricketer Usman Khawaja.
