A man has been charged after a shotgun was allegedly fired towards the legs of a man during an attempted armed robbery in a Sans Souci lane.
The incident occurred in Bonanza Lane about 10pm on Saturday, July 13, but was not reported to police at the time.
St George detectives began investigating after receiving information.
A police spokesman said inquiries revealed a shotgun was allegedly fired towards the feet of a man, 44, who sustained grazes as a result.
Police arrested a a man, 27, at Riverwood Police Station yesterday, July 24.
He was subsequently charged with assault with intent to rob armed with a dangerous weapon, fire firearm in a manner likely to injure persons, and acquire pistol etc subject to firearms prohibition order.
He was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday.
