St George Illawarra made a surprise visit to Todd Park, Blakehurst on Tuesday afternoon with a special gift for one St George District Junior Rugby League club.
The Kogarah Cougars were named a 2019 St George Bank footy grant recipient.
Representatives from the club were on hand to receive the $5,000 grant.
St George Illawarra NRL and WNRL stars Corey Norman and Kezie Apps also made an appearance, much to the delight of the junior Cougars players in attendance.
St George Bank teamed up with the Dragons, Queensland Reds and GWS Giants to launch their inaugural grant program in March, with up to $100,000 to be awarded to grassroots footy clubs.
The Dragons will play three of their last six NRL matches of the season at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
After Sunday's clash with Parramatta, the Dragons welcome Gold Coast to Kogarah next weekend before their round 23 match against the Sydney Roosters.
