Around 6000 participants made their way from Sutherland to Wanda recently in the Sutherland 2 Surf, running, walking and most importantly, enjoying themselves, whether it be for the challenge or the wonderful atmosphere.
Why not keep up your activity, and for FREE. Sutherland Shire is very privileged to have two parkruns - conducted every Saturday over 5kms.
Cronulla parkrun is located at Don Lucas Reserve (7am) and Menai parkrun at Menai Parc (8am). They are free; organised by volunteers; and require a one-off registration.
parkrun caters for runners and walkers of every standard. Strollers are welcome on appropriate terrains, as are dogs. Results are emailed to every participant usually within an hour or two of the event.
