RE the article "Study of sites for new pool: Carss Park and Jubilee Stadium included" (Leader, August 21).
Overwhelming support to rebuild the pool in its current location. Will the council listen to residents about Carss Park pool? This is the question. Many are cynical. Please prove them wrong Georges River Council.
Dianne Lo
Carss Park every day of the week! Jubilee has no parking and it's a stadium, throw an aquatic centre into the mix, we all know what happens there.
William Mc Carthy
Maybe Carss Park (well they're closing down the pool?) but definitely NOT Jubilee Stadium. I live there and it is a nightmare - now more than ever with more games on! Why aren't the residents ever considered in these matters. It's just all about revenue. Sometimes I can't even see the point of leaving the house because it takes me forever to get back home.

Rebuild Carss Park pool.
Andrew Dwyer
The logical choice is the pool should be rebuilt in Carss Park - give the community something - we desperately need this pool to stay where it is - we need a pool/leisure activity in this area.

Hasn't the council seen how horrendous the traffic already is at Jubilee?
Nicholas Christo
Why not the old St George stadium?
Mario Pengue
Where do you park when you want to have a swim and the footy is on? Jubilee Avenue is already extra congested now as you can no longer turn right into Gray St when heading south on the highway, even the ambulances have to go this way to get to the hospital.
Helen Johnson
Where would they put it at Jubilee?
Pam Lawrence
There's no parking near Jubilee on any given day due to the hospital and commuters, so why plonk a pool there to compound the issue?
