A festival of words inks a decade
The Sutherland Branch of the Fellowship of Australian Writers celebrated its 10 year anniversary this year.
It hosted its Writers Unleashed Festival this month in August. Sutherland mayor Carmelo Pesce opened the event to a crowd of enthusiastic readers and writers at Gymea Tradies.
Shire author and editors from top publishing houses also participated in a panel Q&A.
The Fellowship's good read anthology 'Webs of Life' was also launched by shire author and publisher Helen Armstrong.
The branch welcomes new members.
