The Bike to the Beach ride from Taren Point to Wanda has been cancelled due to bad weather.
The annual cycling event was to be held on Sunday, September 22, but Sutherland Shire Council advised "due to the ongoing wet weather", the ride would not be held.

The annual family Bike to the Beach ride from Taren Point to Wanda will be held on Sunday, September 22.
Sutherland Shire Council, supported by Sutherland PCYC and Rideability, is again hosting the free, five kilometre cycling event from 10am to midday.
The ride starts at Shorebird Reserve, at the corner of Smith Street and Alexander Avenue where street parking is available, and finishes at Don Lucas Reserve.
A council spokeswoman said the course, including the scenic Woolooware Bay shared pathway, was suitable for experienced riders as well as beginners.
Mayor Carmelo Pesce said the event was "a great chance for the entire family to get active and enjoy our stunning coastline".
The event is held in September each year as part of NSW Bike Week.
Volunteers assist at crossing points and help young riders collect progress stamps along the way.
The cycle route opens from 10am and is manned until the last registered rider completes the course.
All riders must bring their own bikes in roadworthy condition, including a working bell, and must also wear helmets during the ride in accordance with current NSW cycling laws.
Free bike safety checks by Endeavour Cycles.will be available at the start of the course.
At Don Lucas Reserve, there will be free activities, including face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, giant slide, giveaways and games.
There will also be free hot dogs and smoothies for the riders.
