Sydney FC have been making their mark in the community ahead of the new A-League season.
The reigning A-League champions will play 10 of their 13 home fixtures at Jubilee Stadium this season, starting with their round five clash against Melbourne Victory on November 16.
The club appointed Billy Kirk as their fan development officer for the St George district earlier this year.
Kirk has been out and about at a number of St George Football Association club's presentation days as well as the association's grand final days showing off the Sky Blues' A-League and W-League trophies.
Sydney FC's winter holiday program at Hurstville Oval proved a success, with Kosta Barbarouses and Anthony Caceres making an appearance to the delight of the more than 100 participants.
There was also the Lugarno FC, Bexley North FC and Sans Souci FC presentation days as well as Sydney FC's skills training program at Peakhurst United.
The skills training program, a new initiative from the Sky Blues, is a more intensive one hour weekly development course focused on training four core skills - striking the ball, running with the ball, first touch and 1v1 situations - in game related situations.
The program will return again in term four at Rockdale on Mondays and Peakhurst Park's new synthetic field on Thursdays starting in mid-October.
The club will also host its popular school holiday clinic at Peakhurst Park from October 1 to 3.
