The young man who was allegedly assaulted and threatened with a knife on Saturday night says he is still recovering from the incident.
The alleged victim, 23, was travelling into the city by train from Engadine on September 28, when he was approached by two men, allegedly threatened and attacked.
"I was just minding my own business heading into the city," he said.
"It's shaken me up. I've got a disability and I'm still shook up. I didn't see the knife but when police told me they had one I was extra shaken. I think they're scum for what they've done, it ruined my night.
"I yelled out for help but nobody came. Nothing like this has ever happened before. I'm usually fine going out on my own at night but I'll be extra cautious now.
"People should be vigilant when going out at night alone. Travel in groups if you can."
