One of the whales gives a full view of its tail, much to the delight of whale watchers this week.
A boat full of lucky whale watchers got a splashing treat on Thursday when some less than shy whales put on quite the show.
Cronulla Whale Watching shared some of their recent footage captured off the Cronulla coast, with a couple of whales breaching and playing, showing off some impressive moves, waving as if to greet onlookers.
Whales have been returning southwards from September, and will continue their long trip back to colder waters after migrating north to give birth to their young in the warmer seas.
Southern right whales can be spotted anytime through to October, usually close to shore.
