Work will be able to recommence on a controversial home construction at Greenhills Beach after the approval of modified plans.
Sutherland Shire Council has lifted a stop work order - the second imposed on the project in Peregrine Drive, in the exclusive Shearwater Landing estate.

The council acted after nearby residents complained about breaches of the development application (DA) approval.
The council subsequently took the property owner to court, but lost. Details are not available and related matters are still before the court.
The approved section 96 modification application (MA) was the second lodged by the property owner. The first was refused by the council.
A range of conditions, including that no part of the building must be higher than nine metres, were attached to the approval.
Residents, who brought the DA breaches to the council's notice are not confident the MA conditions will be adhered to given the history of the project.
They say the work will be closely watched by residents who work in the building industry, and the private certifier will be under a lot of pressure.
"We have been left absolutely dumbfounded by the whole DA approval farce," one resident said.
"When we built our home, we had to go through two approval processes - one for Shearwater Landing plus the normal council process.
"We all did the right thing and stuck to the right sizes.
"But, this house was owner built well outside the original approved DA without certifications and inspections being carried out at the correct stages by the council or private certifier.
"If residents had not alerted the council, no action would have been taken at all."
A council spokeswoman said the stop work order would be lifted with the approval of the MA.
"Council will not be appealing [the court] decision and will be making no further comment at this stage, as related matters are still before the court," she said.
Comment has been sought from the property owner.
