It's not easy being 'purr-fect' but a line-up of majestic moggies will compete for that title in a cat showcase at Menai this month.
Sydney's pedigree cat show on October 26 is part of Australia's tour hosted by Australian National Cats Inc - Australia's only national cat registering group affiliated with the World Cat Federation.
Presenting an all-breeds championship show, judges will take a close-up look at every paw and tail.
President of ANCATS, Brian Edwards, says there will be more than 300 cats vying for the title of international best in show.
The Aussie Tour will showcase an vast range of pedigree cats, from the Australian Mist (Australia's own breed), Sphynx and Maine Coon to the Burmese, Oriental, Siamese and many more popular breeds.
"We invite everyone of all ages to come and experience the ANCATS show hospitality with all its glamour and elegance, watch the judging, mingle with breeders and learn about responsible cat ownership," Mr Edwards said.
Entries to the Sydney show at Club Central from 9am-4pm are open until October 11.
