Re the article "Wedding centre memories abound: Doltone House celebrates 50 years" (Leader, October 9).
Well deserved, credit to an amazing and inspiring couple I'm proud to call my in-laws. Congratulations to both families. A Shire Icon.

Great story from one family to another. My sister's wedding was held there in 98 and my girls went to kindy with the Singorelli children back in 2007 and 08 next door at the kindy. Such a lovely family to take on the legacy. So many memories of time spent there.

Had our 6th form farewell there in 1977. Lovely memories.

That is great family history, Kane and family should be very proud.

I remember when they were building Doltone and some building materials were mysteriously disappearing from the site, Tony noticed the tracks of a wheelbarrow in the mud heading away from the site to a neighbouring residence and followed hot on the trail. Tony had a quiet word to the occupant and the pilfering ceased.
