One of the most popular community events in Sutherland Shire, the Gymea Village Fair returns on Sunday, October 27, from 9am to 4pm.
Presented by the Gymea Chamber of Commerce, the fair attracts an estimated 50,000 visitors a year.
There will be 198 stalls lining Gymea Bay Road from The Kingsway to President Avenue selling original artwork, plants, homewares, clothing and accessories, kids toys and clothes.
The popular multicultural food stalls can be found in the food court area from the Kingsway to Warburton Street.
They will be presenting cuisine from around the world, including Turkish Gozleme, Thai food, pancakes, German Wieners, Japanese Pizza and a good old-fashioned sausage sizzle, and for the kids, doughnuts and fairy floss.
Returning again this year will be the Tradies Warburton Street stage which will showcase a full program of entertainment including local schools and dance and singing academies.
The Get Wild Reptile show is also back to allow kids to get up-close and personal with some exotic reptiles.
For those who love the sounds of bagpipes, Ross Brewer on stage at 11.20am before he heads off down Gymea Bay Road playing a wide selection of old favourites.
School of Rock will be performing from 12.30pm - 1.30pm.
Gymea Reserve will be filled with amusement rides, along with face painting and rock climbing.
