Red & Whites are in 'disarray'

Here's my two bob's worth re the rumour Zac Lomax has been granted option of release by the Dragons.

Kids like Zac are the future of St George but has not been given a fair dinkum go to establish himself due to under-achieving hot shots being preferred each week.

Last season never got off the ground for him.

He's another Jack Wighton - he's go that much promise.

Despite continuing disasters - there is always an excuse apparently.

He should have been first up best dressed playing either centre or fullback and now would have had a solid season in Firsts under his belt, confidence up and well settled.

If he goes he follows a heap of other established and promising players who have been moved on in recent seasons due to either the complete ineptitude of retaining same due to salary crap mismanagement or an inability to recognise ability.

No more for me sorry. I've been trekking to Kogarah since I was a kid in short duds and knocking off cardboard corner posts.

But enough is enough and every week when I see footy stars like the Morris twins, Dugan, Prior, Herbert, Garrick, Thompson, Haville, Bird, Mann, plus others out there and performing its hard to swallow.

The Phil Gould cop out tops it all off.

Frank Facer and blokes of his ilk and era would be in tears to see this once proud club - their Red & Whites - in such continued disarray.
