A man has been charged after he crashed his BMW into a shopfront at Riverwood this morning.
Police believe the car was being driven along Belmore Road at 12.45am on Tuesday when it continued through the intersection with Thurlow Road and drove into the building.
A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and allegedly refused a roadside breath test.
The Dapto man was taken to St George Police Station where he again allegedly refused to undergo a breath analysis.
The man has now been charged with two counts of refuse a breath test.
He has been conditionally bailed to appear in Sutherland Local Court on November 26.
The man's licence has been suspended.
The storefront sustained significant damage.
