A Chris Williams century helped Sutherland to a convincing seven-wicket victory over Parramatta on Saturday.
The Sharks traveled to Old Kings Oval looking to build on the momentum of their first win of the season and got it when they bowled the hosts out for 224.
All-rounder Ben Dwarshuis was the star with the ball taking 3-24 from his 10 overs, with Tom Pinson and Daniel Fallins picking up two wickets each.
In reply, Williams and James Arnold had the visitors off to a strong start with a 71-run opening partnership before Arnold fell for 33.
Jarryd Biviano was dismissed without scoring before Williams and Tom Doyle (60) took the game away from Parramatta.
The Sutherland captain finished unbeaten on 104, hitting eight boundaries in his 133-ball innings.
Meanwhile, Peter Francis was the hero for St George as Saints sneaked home to score a one-wicket victory over University of NSW.
Francis took 3-33 to help restrict University to 9-204 from their 50 overs at Daceyville before St George looked on track for a comfortable win as Luke Bartier (43) and captain Nick Stapleton (68) put on 77 for the first wicket.
But the hosts fought back, with Saints losing a consistent flow of wickets to be reeling at 9-201.
Francis though got St George home, making 13 not out from nine balls including three boundaries, with Saints passing the University total with four balls to spare.
