Families of all religious traditions are invited to join together for the traditional Christmas event, Hurstville City Carols.
Now in its 19th year, the Hurstville City Carols will be held by the International Community Fellowship in Woodville Park, Hudson Street, on Saturday, December 7.
The Family Festival starts at 4pm with games and fun activities, a barbecue sausage sizzle, face painting, kids craft, gifts and food stall, glowsticks and the traditional tug-of-war.
The Stage Show begins at 7pm with the traditional Christmas concert.
Georges River Council mayor Kevin Greene will open the event and bring greetings.
The program will come alive with singers singing a program of carol favourites supported by the South Pacific Concert Band.
The Nativity drama, presented by neighbourhood children, will showcase the birth of Jesus with Joseph and Mary, angels, shepherds and kings.
"The family concert brings together local talent giving an opportunity for children and adults from a variety of cultures and backgrounds to share their talents," International Community Fellowship pastor Winston Gauder said.
"It is exciting to have families from all traditions coming together to sit on the grass side by side and relax together as they focus on the very first Christmas that announced the birth of Jesus Christ who offers hope to a troubled world," Pastor Gauder said.
