The World Singles Champion of Champions defeated Australian representative Kristina Krstic, 25-23, in her medal playoff.
The world champion hit back with a 25-20 win against Darwin's Colleen Orr and reached the medal match by defeating South Australian Melissa Morrow, 25-15.

Whitehead returns home to skip a rink in Wodonga's A1 pennant side against YMGCR on Saturday, before lining up with Yackandandah's Mary Tragardh for the finals of the state pairs at Corowa Civic.
