A community choir helped spread some Christmas cheer among patients at St George Hospital last week.
Sing Australia's St George choir visited the hospital's Aged Care Precinct on Wednesday, December 11 to raise the spirits of patients in its care.
The choir entertained about 70 elderly patients, visitors and staff with traditional Christmas carols. Several patients joined in and sang along to Jingle Bells, Silent Night, O' Come Let us Adore Him and many more songs.
The hospital's Aged Care Precinct includes two 30-bed units dedicated to caring for acutely ill elderly patients. The innovative model of care includes a rapid assessment unit, acute and sub-acute beds, and delirium and high-dependency rooms.
