Christmas came early on Wednesday when Sharks players joined Santa to visit patients in the children's ward at Sutherland Hospital.
The visit was part of the Sharks annual Christmas Blitz, which sees the NRL squad, head coach John Morris and some of the Sharks Mermaids cheerleaders split into groups to spread some joy in the community.
Players Tom Hazleton, Will Kennedy, Jack Williams and Blayke Brailey spent the morning at Sutherland Hospital visiting patients in the children's ward and other wards.They were accompanied by a Santa from Westfield Miranda, who handed out gifts.
Sharks fan Rachelle Pratt was thrilled to meet the players, who swung by the hospital's special care nursery where her newborn twins Ava and Jameson Hokman were receiving treatment.
Elsewhere this week, Sharks players delivered toys and played games with children at Sylvanvale School at Kirrawee, while John Morris joined players Chad Townsend and Jack Williams at Civic Disability Services at Caringbah where they mingled with staff, signed autographs and posed for photographs.
Wade Graham and Josh Morris joined a morning tea at Sutherland Shire Family Services, where they delivered Christmas hampers, while other players visited sick kids at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.
