Members of the St George Brass Band played on 22 occasions throughout December to celebrate the Christmas season.
Mostly playing in quartets, the Band featured its young musicians playing Christmas songs and carols in local shopping centres.
Four of the performances supported lunches at Greenwood Cottage, organised by the Benevolent Society of NSW.
Donations received during the shopping centre performances will support the band's junior program throughout 2020, including entries in the Sydney Metropolitan, State and National band competitions.
Secretary of the Band, James Moule, said that he was inspired by the young musicians and gratified by the generosity of shoppers.
