The fresh southerly blew up a nice 3-5 ft sou-east swell yesterday dropping temperatures and giving Cronulla surfers some real waves for a change.
It backed off during the day leaving us with a still surfable 2-3 ft of clean swell this morning but it was hard to find a good wave on the high tide -this should stick around for a few days but the winds will be tending onshore.
The forecast looks ominous with the first real major swell of the season upon us-we will see a steadily building Easterly swell from a building East Coast Low that will smash our coast for a few days.
The swell will be up around the 6-8 ft plus mark but we have a solid week of direct onshore winds as well so dont get too excited.
