Jannali once the hidden gem of Sutherland Shire is changing into one of Sydney's most liveable suburbs with a new addition to its food scene with the recent opening of Kitchen 66.

Jannali now sits at no 13,up from 132 on the new Domain Livable Sydney study-where 569 suburbs were ranked on 19 different indicators to give a list of the most liveable suburbs.

Kitchen 66 is appropriately named as it sits at 66 Railway crescent Jannali and the proprietors didn't want it pigeonholed into a specific food genre because they cater for Greek,Italian and Seafood lovers.

The new restaurant is located opposite the station and only a few doors up from the Union Place Hotel which has risen on the former Jannali Inn site and offers a cosy but vibrant ambience.

The Executive Chef, Con Galigalis has been a head chef in numerous Sydney restaurants, and locals would know him from his tenure at the Lugarno Seafood Restaurant where he was both a partner and Executive Chef between 2000 - 2012.

Chef Galigalis has teamed up with long-term friends and associates Kon Mantokas and Michael Cooper who all have over two decades of experience in the hospitality and wine industries, to bring you the Kitchen 66 experience in Jannali.

Michael Cooper said they also cater for customers new dining habits using uber Eats and Menulog and also specialising in catering for functions.
