Sydney's premier outdoor theatre company is coming to Cronulla this weekend.
Bard on the Beach will present two William Shakespeare plays, Julius Caesar and All's Well that Ends Well at Gunnamatta Park this Friday to Sunday.
All's Well that Ends Well will be performed on Friday, March 6, at 7.30pm.
There will be two performances of Julius Caesar at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8.
Former Sutherland Shire resident Rhiannon Bateman, 24, will star in both productions, as Portia/Flavius in Julius Caesar, and Diana/Maid in All's Well That End's Well.
Ms Bateman, who grew up in Barden Ridge and attended Caringbah High School, has been performing in theatre and musical theatre for many years, and has appeared in Miranda Musical Society productions of Heathers: The Musical and Hello, Dolly!
She has also worked with Rockdale Opera Company, among others.
The Sydney Actors School graduate appeared in Australian Theatre for Young People's production of The Dwarf Revue.
Bard on the Beach Cronulla season is at Gunnamatta Park's amphitheatre, 39/41R Nicholson Parade, Cronulla.
Patrons are invited to bring along a rug, blanket, or low chair, and pack a picnic before settling in to enjoy the night's entertainment.
The event is not ticketed but donations are sought, with a recommended donation of $20 per person.
