A Memorial Event will be held this Sunday to honour two members of the Carrs Park Soccer Club who have died in recent years.
Katrina Tasftaropoulos established the Ringo-George Memorial Cup eight years ago when her son, George passed away from suicide.
It also is in memory of another club member Ringo John Little who died two years before.
The gala soccer day will feature 20 teams from across Sydney competing for the cup.
Family and friends are welcome and there will be kids entertainment including inflatable games, face painting and coaching for kids from Little Kickers.
The day will include be a silent auction of soccer jerseys, here will be food stalls plus free gelato and coffee.
There will be a presentation from Black Dog Institute and nurses doing heart checks.
The non-profit event will see about 200 players on the day play for the Memorial Cup which is also is supported by Beyond Blue.
Over the years the event has raised more than $27,000 for Beyond Blue, Black Dog Institute and Lifeline.
The Game will be held on Sunday, March 1 at Parkside Drive, Kogarah Bay.
The day starts at 10am. All are welcome.
