Update
Only one private pathology service is offering coronavirus testing in St George and Sutherland Shire and patients need to phone a special hotline first to make an appoinment.
According to the Central and Eastern Sydney Public Health Network, Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is the only pathology service in the area offering coronavirus testing and has limited it to one location.
The pathology service is offering COVID-19 testing from its collection centre at 111 Mulga Road, Oatley, but patients must phone a booking hotline on 1800 026 622 to make an appointment.
It is one of just six designated COVID-19 testing facilities operated by Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in Sydney.
The pathology service was offering coronavirus collection at two other locations in the area, at Hurstville and Cronulla, but these are no longer operating.
All patients must be "low-risk" and have a pathology request form for coronavirus testing prior to calling the hotline.
"High-risk" patients who have a fever or significant respiratory symptoms must be referred to a local hospital.

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology will set up a hotline from Monday to handle calls relating to the collection of coronavirus samples in St George and Sutherland Shire.
The pathology service was offering coronavirus collection at three locations in St George and Sutherland Shire, but will now limit this to one, amid fears they would be inundated, a spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said just one dedicated COVID-19 collection centre is currently operating in St George. There are now none in Sutherland Shire.
The only designated collection centre is at 111 Mulga Road, Oatley, and is open from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
Those who are attending must ring 8650 1370 beforehand. You must wear a mask on arrival and have a valid referral from a doctor.
The spokeswoman said other Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology locations, including Hurstville and Cronulla, that were taking coronavirus samples will no longer do so.
According to the Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology website, collections for coronavirus (COVID-19) testing can only be performed at dedicated collection centres during specific times, Monday to Friday.
"Before attending, patients must notify the collection centre by phone," the website says.
"Only patients with mild symptoms will have specimens collected in a collection centre. Patients with more significant illness should be referred to hospital immediately."
A special hotline will begin taking calls from Monday. Details will be made available on the Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology website the same day.
