Georges River Council has cancelled a number of events that were scheduled for March and April following recommendations by the Australian Government in an effort to slow the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Eat/Art Night Market due to be held this Friday, March 20 at Hurstville Plaza has been cancelled along with the Harmony Day event which was to be held on Saturday, March 21 at Hogben Park, Kogarah.
Also cancelled is Georges River Council Seniors Festival Dance Party Finale which was to be held on Friday, March 27 at the Hurstville Entertainment Centre, and the Rock the Plaza event which was to be held on Friday, April 3 at Hurstville Plaza.
The following events has been postponed until further notice:
The Wiggles Fun and Games Tour, Wednesday, March 25, Hurstville Entertainment Centre;
World of busking , Friday, March 27, Hurstville Plaza;
Bozo Vreo and Band Live in Sydney, Thursday, April 16, Hurstville Entertainment Centre.
