The Bayside Local Planning Panel meeting scheduled to be held this evening has been postponed until mid-April.
The meeting was to be held at Rockdale Town hall at 6pm.
The postponement is part of a review of the council's meeting procedures following the coronavirus pandemic.
"As Bayside Council has a priority to maintain the safety and wellbeing of all of those that interact with Council, we continue to actively monitor the COVID-19 situation," according to a statement on the council website.
"As such we will continue to review our operations based on expert advice from the Commonwealth Government and NSW Health.
"Council is currently reviewing how it will hold its public meetings given the COVID-19 situation.
"To enable Council to implement revised procedures for the holding of its public meetings, it has cancelled the Bayside Local Planning Panel meeting scheduled for Tuesday 24 March 2020.
"It is expected that those items listed for that meeting will be dealt with at the Panel meeting of Tuesday 14 April 2020. Further information (including our revised meeting procedures) will be made available as soon as possible."
