Man charged after boy kicked unconscious
Police have charged a man who allegedly approached a boy, 14, at Miranda and kicked him to the head, causing him to fall unconscious, and then kicked him again in the head as he lay on the ground.
Officers attached to the Cronulla Police Transport and Public Safety Command arrested the man, 42, on Monday.
The man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police appealed for public assistance after the assault on March 6.
Police said information received from the appeal led to the arrest.
The man was refused bail and was due to appear at Central Local Court today (Tuesday).
