An easing of restrictions on dance studios, community sport and gyms is expected to be announced within the next few days.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian indicated changes were imminent during a radio interview on Monday as clubs, pubs, cafes and restaurants were allowed to cater for larger numbers.

"We're working through the list," Ms Berejiklian told Ben Fordham on 2GB.

"Can I be so bold as to suggest that we will be saying something publicly about that this week.

"There's two things that we want to say something about in the near future and that's children's community sport, but also gyms and dance studios and the like."

Indoor pools and learn-to-swim classes are among other activities that are also still banned.
