Timed parking at Westfield Miranda will be reintroduced on August 5.
Boom gates have been been refitted after being removed at the start of the coronavirus epidemic.
Signs at the gates advise, "Free parking ending on the 4th August".
The suspension of time limits and paid parking after three hours lasted a lot longer than expected.
Westfield said at the end of May the system was being reviewed.

Timed parking at Westfield centres is expected to be reintroduced as customer numbers continue to increase.
Owner and manager, Scentre Group, scrapped time parking and removed boom gates when coronavirus restrictions turned shopping centres into virtual ghost towns.
The system is being reviewed, with the group revealing customer visitation across all Westfield centres for the week ending May 24 returned to 80 per cent of what it was a year earlier.
"All Westfield car parks across Australia, including at Westfield Miranda and Westfield Hurstville, are open, with customers receiving complimentary parking," a spokeswoman said.
"Customers can drive straight out the exit as boom gates are currently removed.
"As more retailers reopen and more customers return to our centres each day, we are reviewing the parking status to ensure that our customers can continue to quickly and easily access parking.
"We will continue to update our local communities via our centre websites."
The spokeswoman said Westfield centres continued to "adhere to government guidelines to encourage and facilitate physical distancing, including the closure of food courts, comfort and respite seating".
"While seating is not available, we do offer complimentary wheelchairs and power shoppers for up to three hours for mobility-impaired customers," the spokeswoman said.
We will begin reintroducing some comfort and respite seating for mobility-impaired customers from early June."
