Three new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in the 24 hours up until 8pm on Saturday.
NSW Health said one case is a 34-year-old overseas cargo airline crew member, who became unwell during transit.
Close contacts have been identified and further investigations are underway.
The other two new cases are returned travellers in hotel quarantine.
A total of 18,114 tests were notified in the reporting period, compared with 23,733 tests in the previous 24 hours.
