Sutherland Shire Council will spend a record $55 million on infrastructure over the next 12 months despite the impact of coronavirus.
The council has also budgeted to "continue delivering all existing services and service levels" and will assist businesses by waiving fees and charges related to regulatory activity and halving the Cronulla CBD special levy.
The council, at its meeting on Monday night, adopted the Operational Plan 2020/21, which includes revenue policy, budget, capital works program and fees and charges.
The plan is the fourth year of the recently extended five-year Delivery Program 2017 - 2022.
Documents were on public exhibition from April 29 to May 27.
A council spokeswoman told the Leader in late April the council's strong financial position prior to the onset of the pandemic meant there was no need to cut back the capital works program.

The final budgeted figure is $2.3 million more than the forecast $52.7 million spend in April.
Mayor Carmelo Pesce said the capital works program included refurbishment of Sutherland Entertainment Centre and a sports fields renewal program.
A sum of $19 million was committed to transport infrastructure projects.
Cr Pesce said the capital works program also included infrastructure renewal for assets such as roads, footpaths, parks and drainage.
"Further plans that will support the future of our community include the Waste Management Strategy, the Community Development Strategy, and the Integrated Transport Strategy and Plan," he said.
The council had previously adopted a four-year Delivery Program supported by the annual Operational Plan, but in line with NSW Government directives in response to COVID-19, the current Integrated Planning and Reporting Cycle has been extended by 12 months to align with new council election dates in 2021.
