The Sutherland drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic has moved to a new location in Waratah Park near the basketball stadium.

The facility is accessed from Old Princes Highway (Rawson Street) and will operate from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2.30pm on weekends. It will be closed on public holidays.

The clinic had operated at the Sutherland Multi-Purpose Centre in Flora Street, Sutherland, until the relocation today (Sunday).

No booking or GP referral is required.

Children under five should attend the testing clinic at Sutherland Hospital, South Eastern District Local Health Service said.

"Please note that the car park on the high side of the PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Club) is unaffected," the statement said.

"The drive-through takes up two thirds of the basketball stadium car park during operating hours," the statement said.

"The car park is returned to almost full access to stadium attendance after hours.

"We have consulted with council on the traffic management plan and stadium management and believe there will be minimum impact."
