Police have appealed for public assistance to find a man who allegedly grabbed and assaulted a girl, 14, who was walking along a street at Yowie Bay this morning.
The incident occurred about about 7.15am on Tuesday, July 28.
"A 14 year old female was walking on Warrah Road, Yowie Bay when she was approached and grabbed on the wrist by an unknown man," said a Sutherland Shire Police Area Command statement.
"A struggle ensued before he pushed her onto the ground and left.
"The male is described as being of caucasian appearance, between 20 and 30 years old, about 180cm tall (6ft), skinny build with a patchy beard.
"He was wearing a black jumper with hoody which had a red underside brim and blue jeans.
