G'day readers,
Opinions, the saying goes they are like bottoms, we all have them (I cleaned that up somewhat in case kids are reading).
Anyway, opinions, yes, we all have them and we don't always agree on things and that's not a bad thing.
In these COVID times, exercising one's brain with a healthy difference of opinion between adults can be good mental stimulation, something those working from home or spending long periods with kids might appreciate.
Sometimes observing a difference of opinion between people can be as good as any sport, but also educational.
Wow! Did our Facebook page light up. I thought I knew most of the arguments, but I did learn a few finer points about the drug and why it is so controversial. I also learnt a few new insults. Of course, we did not publish those and I'd never use any of them.
Merryn Porter took us face-first into a difference of opinion over an eye-catching mural on a privately-owned building at Miranda.
Our photographer Chris Lane took some great shots, have a look and tell us what you think.
Fake grass or real turf?
The new toll certainly has people hot under the collar, but the only people who seem to agree with it are Liberal and National Party parliamentarians.
Do you like chocolates? I will admit I am a raging chocoholic.
Murray Trembath told us a good news story this week about local favourite Nina's Chocolates. It is a yummy yarn.
How's your hearing? If it is a bit off the see our sponsors at https://www.telexhearingcentre.com.au/
If you want to know what's going on in local real estate here is a good read for you.
There are 2500 subscribers to this newsletter now and that number keeps growing. I have spoken before of holding an exclusive subscriber-only event when restrictions lift. I was thinking of a morning tea or two at our office in Kogarah. A behind the scenes look at what we do and that's still on the cards so keep it in mind. Any suggestions from you would be appreciated.
Enjoy your Sunday read, keep well and stay safe. I'll see you next Sunday.
