After one of the worst winters for life but the best winter's for swell it's finally run out and so have the waves this week.
Todays decreasing 2-3ft south swell is as big as it is going to get until Monday afternoon next week so catch a couple of extras before you come in.
Today's waves are only up the north end of the beach with the swell really south and the only banks surfable are situated from Wanda to Greenhills and the crowds know all about it.
The forecast shows this 1-2 ft soft swell to change direction around to the nor-east which still doesn't help Cronulla surfers much because Bate Bay faces towards the south and we miss a lot of north direction swells.
The winds will also swing to the north-west for the early before also blowing nor-east in a sign of things to come.
On a brighter note the water temp is sitting around 15.6 degree's so it can't get much colder- but you never know we have had fires, floods and famine so anything could happen.
