After a week of super small waves and clean offshores which made all the Mal riders happy a strong Southerly has blown through early this morning and is making a mess of the surfing conditions.
It has almost been flat with a couple of little banks at Wanda attracting all the swell and the crowds, but the bad erosion on the beach has been slowly coming back.
The good news is this blustery Southerly will also bring with it a new south swell that will slowly swing around to the east and peak on Friday night,Saturday at a good 3-5ft.
The onshores will also stop blowing on Friday afternoon leaving Saturday morning and Sunday the pick of the week with still good 4ft size waves and offshores predicted for the start of next week.
I took todays pics this morning at North Cronulla and there wasn't a .surfer on the whole beach until Blake and the Cronulla Surf School Frothers turned up and had some fun.
